Nigeria, dear native land!

6 lucky ones who risked and succeeded in escaping… not so for some other 200 whose future is still in the balance: hanging between the political interest of some big, yet-to-be- known individuals in the country & beyond on the one hand, AND a government whose political prowess is undermined by an array of vested interests, maybe particularly the 2015 elections on the other hand. But we look forward with hope, in common action with men and women of good will, that we can sacrifice such vested interests for the good of the country. That we can initiate good policies and actions which would kick-start the enormous but comatose Nigerian state machine. Surely not with talks like “rotation of government” or the unfortunate Obasanjoned but now popular idea of “do-or-die winning!”
